70’s Theme for Glenarbon Birthday Girls
It was a beautiful August day for Birthday Girls on Tuesday 12th and one of the locals, a large echidna, was out enjoying the sunshine and welcoming the girls to the Glenarbon Hall for a day of 70’s revelry.
We had a great roll up of 20 girls including two visitors; Gloria from Nobby and Suzi’s cousin from Adelaide. It was lovely to have Gloria back for the day. As always, we also had some apologies as life goes on.
The hot cuppa and snacks are always a good way to start the day; to mix and mingle and catch up and this month was no exception.
Tania brought back 70’s memories, with hair, flares and colour. Well done.
ABBA and Dancing Queen set the tone for a day to leave your woes behind and enjoy the friendship of an amazing mix of ladies.
The “back to the 70’s” quiz by Annie D and delivered by Carolyn was another cracker! Very interesting!
Val said Grace before we tucked into a delightful feast for lunch with musical chairs afterwards as everyone again mingled and tried to catch up with each other.
Lisa and Mardi cut the birthday cake and dessert was followed by more chatting. It was certainly a wonderful day.
