The Texas Regional Art Gallery is set to burst into bloom this spring with a vibrant new exhibition, A Splash of Spring, running from 13th September to 24th October.
This lively exhibition brings together a group of colourful and talented artists, each invited to interpret the theme of Spring through their own unique lens. Spanning a wide range of mediums, techniques, and creative styles, the exhibition promises a fresh and diverse celebration of the season’s energy, renewal, and beauty.
Featured artists include Kate Owen, Karen Backus, Annabel Cleeve, Kate Mitchell, Jane Henry, Sophia Cameron, Nel Byrnes, Robyn Beeston, and Olivia Finlay. Each brings a distinctive voice to the collection, from bold abstract forms to delicate florals, contemporary landscapes, and everything in between.
More than just an exhibition, A Splash of Spring also marks a special milestone—the 25th anniversary of the Texas Regional Art Gallery. For a quarter of a century, the gallery has served as a creative hub for the region, championing local and visiting artists and offering the community access to an ever-evolving display of artistic excellence.
The Texas Regional Art Gallery is proudly managed by Texas Art Council Inc. and is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers. The gallery also receives vital support from the Goondiwindi Regional Council.
