As week four ended, the summer holiday was but a shimmering memory at the back of their minds. Everyone at Texas school have shown they are well and truly back into the swing of education and learning by kicking goals and battling the heat. The students have come back to school in 2026 with a very positive attitude and it has been a pleasure for principal, Mr Sean Cole, to give that feedback while on assembly.

Swimming Carnival
On Friday of Week 2 Texas school had their school interhouse swimming carnival. It was an extremely hot day, so shade, water and sunscreen were the order of the day. The students deserve to be commended on how they participated in the carnival. They showed spirit and participation which reflected the objectives of the event. At the end of the day Burilda won by the narrowest of margins and Coolac were gracious runners-up.
Thanks to Mr Doughty on the success of the carnival and congratulations to our students who braved the heat to make it a very fun and successful day.
