Birthday Girls Celebrate Again
No fuel?! No worries. The birthday girls rocked on in anyway ready for a fun time to celebrate World Women’s Day.
Fourteen lovelies, plus Nicolas and Francis, were able to get together at the TADDS Hub in Texas to enjoy the day. Thank you to Merrilyn and Annie H for setting up.
It was great to have Gloria Hamilton (right), our only girl with a March birthday, able to travel from Nobby to be with us. Apologies were shared from those who couldn’t make it.
Suzi brought us up to date with the important ‘stuff’ while we sipped, nibbled and listened (most of the time).
Music and singing followed. After all ‘Girls just wanna have fun’ and we had to sing ‘Happy birthday to ya – Gloriaaa’.
Well done to Annie D for the brainteaser, which nearly proved that you don’t have to be able to spell to be able to read?!?!?!
Merrilyn then said Grace, and lunch as always was very yummy.
Rob returned to help Gloria with her birthday cake, and Gloria then shared a little about her life thus far, which was very interesting.
Annie H then shared her “0” birthday talk before dessert was mentioned… and we really shouldn’t have – but oh yes, we did indulge.
Winners for the day were: Nut Jar – Fiona, Brainteaser – Marie, Best Dressed – Heather.
It certainly was another day well spent.
