Birthday Girls Celebrate Australia

Seventeen lovely ladies were able to attend - There was plenty of catching up after the holiday break, with musical chairs kinda conversations-all around the room.

Five birthday girls for the month.

There were 13 beautiful Angel made cards, covering January and February birthdays to be signed. Thank you, Angel.

With so much positivity it was almost a shame to interrupt so we could start the day proper.

We had a sing-a-long to begin. An Aussie themed day meant Aussie songs of course-starting with the National Anthem. We think that was thrown in as a test.

Then it was time for the quiz and it was again a ripper by Annie D. There’s always a couple of curly ones, controversy and laughs. For example –

Why are the Kangaroo and Emu featured on the Australian Coat of Arms? What is Australia’s oldest chocolate bar?

Tania then said Grace. Lunch as always provided such a variety, and still, lots of chatting.

Thanks to Marie for the Birthday Cake, which was eagerly shared by the five birthday girls present. Welcome back Jenny Wheeler.

WOW: - Willie Nelson - Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you will start having positive results.

Winners: - Lolly jar- Heather, Best dressed - Kathy, Lucky door – Deb, Quiz- Jenny P.

And in case you were wondering – the quiz answers: 1. They can’t move backwards. 2. Cherry Ripe.
