Birthday Girls Enjoy Winter Blues Tuesday...
The TADDS hub was the welcoming venue for the Glenarbon Birthday Girls “Winter Blues” Tuesday on the 14th July.
Thank you to Annie H for dressing the tables with some beautiful flower arrangements which certainly helped chase the chilly Winter Blues out of the air.
The hot tea and coffee were also well received to help ease the morning chill.
As always, the girls had plenty of catching up to do over the morning tea chatter.
It was pleasing that Brenda could make it for the day and also great to have Bridget’s mum visit with us.
Everyone then offered a suggestion as to how to keep the Winter Blues at bay - Very interesting too may I say!
Suzi then offered some advice on keeping up our activities in the sun during winter to boost our vitamin D intake. – This information was also very helpful.
After the business of the day and a couple of “blue” themed songs - The Quiz took place. Thanks Annie D for a Winter test. The stand-in quiz master was a little lenient with the answers, Sorry!
Val said grace and lunch was served. A warming feast for a chilly day.
More chat was had to end another most enjoyable day.
