Brenda’s last gathering at “Nixiland"
It was a wonderful Spring Day for Glenarbon Birthday Girls on Tuesday 14th October. Plenty of happy, bright colours were on display as everyone arrived for a very special get together this month.

This was Brenda’s last time hosting at “Nixiland” before she and Bob move on to the next stage of their lives. With one new owner, Deb, co-hosting there was plenty of welcoming colour to cheer up the day.
The “catch up chat” is always noisy and diverse.
Brenda started proceedings with a very special welcome to Frances John Fearby. Congratulations Great, Grand and Mum - Val, Tracey and Angel - hugs. It was also good to have Angel’s Mum and Dad, Chris and Leigh from Tasmania and Suzi’s cousin and her husband share the day with us.
There were apologies aplenty due to travel, work and allergies!!
We will miss Brenda’s useless information! Did you know the Manatee has a belly button!
We took the time to acknowledge GRC for preparing to upgrade the Texas APEX toilets and for putting non-slip tape in the dressing sheds of the Inglewood pool.
An interesting flower game from Deb followed, just to prove we are all different.
The quizmissustress again outdid herself with a Spring Beauty: - resulting in controversy and discord, but settled out of court!?!
Lunch, as usual, was enjoyable and noisy.
Two birthdays were celebrated: - Marg Siddons and Nicolas. Happy Birthday to you both. The Easy Mud Cake [courtesy of Heidi’s Corner in the Mac Gaz] and made by Brenda went down a treat.
Out with the old - Thank you Brenda. In with the new - Welcome Carolyn and Deb.
Winners - Lolly Jar: - Christine, Best Dressed: - Donna, Suzi, and Angel, Quiz: - Deb, Bonus question: - Deb, Val, Jenny.
WOW: - Home isn’t always a place, is it? Charlie Mackesy.
A WONDERFUL DAY
