Farewell to Texas Year 10s
"The end of the year is always tinged with sadness at Texas State School as we farewelled another group of beloved Year 10 students," said Principal Sean Cole.

On Friday, the school gathered for a final assembly. Students from other classes presented the year 10s with gifts and teachers paid them tributes. On Saturday night teachers, family and friends congregated at the Texas Hall to farewell the year 10s at a formal dinner. They arrived at the celebration in hot rod cars, tractors and trucks and were elegantly dressed for the special occasion. After an incredible meal, speeches were made and tributes flowed before the music machine was powered up for dancing. As usual, Mrs Spriggs made it a night for all to remember.
Texas School offers all of the departing year 10s the very best of luck in the future.
