FOURS Win at Clifton
Lady Bowlers from Texas and Warwick with a hard-fought effort late in the day were the fours winners in Clifton last Saturday.
(L-R): Sandra Pianta (Skip), Louise Roddom (Third), Rosie Edmondstone (Second) and Marian Cirson (Lead from Warwick) won the day.
On Saturday 28th February the Clifton Bowling Club hosted the Southern Downs District ladies’ fours competition.
Six teams from the district attended and some great bowls were played in sectional play.
The final was between the Texas team plus one lady from Warwick and another composite team from The Summit, Stanthorpe and Warwick East.
Thank you to all who participated and thanks to the team for a great effort.
