"We were not limited to just Hot Rods, included were hot rods, street rods and classic cars," said Run Organiser Jenny Haswell." "One of the members had to bring their day drive vehicle due to problems with their rod".

Quite a diverse range of cars were involved including a 1947 Oldsmobile Convertible hot rod; 1941 Chevrolet Coupe hot rod; 1936 Ford Coupe hot rod; 1930 Model A Ford hot rod; 1927 Model T Ford hot rod; 1966 Valiant sedan; 1967 Chrysler Newport and a 1935 Hot Rod.

The members of this group were not just from the Toowoomba club, but Ipswich, the northside of Brisbane and the Redlands on the southside of Brisbane.

"Our Toowoomba club are members that are within Toowoomba and close region, and I am told that we number approximately forty people," Jenny said.

"This was our first longer rod run for this group, and I believe the drivers and their offsiders had a good time... There were many laughs together."

"The members enjoyed Texas with some of us seeing the Rabbit Works, the mural on the water tank, some did some shopping and most of us enjoyed a coffee."

"Thank you for the town's hospitality," Jenny Haswell said.
