Inglewood SS Primary Volleyball is on fire!
Last Friday, two Inglewood State School teams travelled to Hills International College at Jimboomba to battle it out in the #5 Qualifier event for the Queensland Volleyball Primary Schools’ Cup.

Our start was early, but our finish was strong, with both teams placing in their Finals matches.
Our Six Boys won all their games all day, placing first in their Pool and winning their Semi-Final only to go down narrowly in the gold medal Grand Final against Stretton.
Our Six Girls placed second in their Pool and somehow lost their Semi-Final (we’re still wondering how) but then finished strong in the bronze medal playoff against Hills to take home the win.
We had a fantastic day! The students performed terrifically and learned how to take setbacks and move on – all essential skills for sport and life. We’ll be back bigger and better for the Finals event coming up in a couple of weeks at Craigslea SHS – bring it on!
