Congratulations to all the winners drawn during late night shopping in Texas on Thursday the 18th of December 2025. Prizes were donated by Texas Septic Service, Pursehouse Rural, Texas Rural Agencies and Texas Foodworks and Mitre 10 along with the major prize courtesy of Lady Elliot Island http://ladyelliotisland.com.au

Local businesses appreciated the support from customers in the lead up to Christmas. The idea of the local passport concept was to get a stamp from each business until you had enough to qualify for tickets. Three stamps (one ticket), five stamps (three tickets) and ten stamps (ten tickets).

The idea was to encourage shoppers to explore their town more closely and hopefully discover a few things they didn't know were available while shopping around.

This promotional concept evolved from discussions between the MacIntyre Gazette, Texas Rural Agencies and Olive Fig & Co. A huge thanks to Grace from the Stockman Hotel for her unique and entertaining promotional clips. This collaboration was only made possible with the support of thirty participating businesses which was a wonderful achievement in itself. A special mention to Jack Spencer for the time he spent liaising with these businesses.

Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed.

Thanks, Indi, for sharing these photographs. Check out some of her work at https://indiloy.pixieset.com/
