The expedition was from Steep Point, the westernmost point of mainland Australia in Western Australia across to Cape Byron at Byron Bay New South Wales. Water was collected (Like on the first expedition) from the Indian Ocean and released in the Pacific Ocean.

The trip commenced on May 3 and finished on May 29. The aim was to raise money towards creating a museum to showcase Mal’s photography. Mal is currently battling with the early stages of dementia.
