New Live Fuel Tracker Launched on Goondiwindi Regional Council Disaster Dashboard
Residents and visitors in our region can now access up to date fuel information at their fingertips, thanks to a new feature integrated into the Goondiwindi Regional Council Disaster Dashboard.

Residents and visitors in our region can now access up to date fuel information at their fingertips, thanks to a new feature integrated into the Goondiwindi Regional Council Disaster Dashboard.
The Honourable Cr Lawrence Springborg AM said “The fuel tracker provides live updates on fuel availability and pricing across the region, helping the community plan essential travel and manage costs more effectively.”
This feature utilises data from the Queensland Government’s mandatory Fuel Price Reporting trial, which requires all fuel retailers to report price changes within 30 minutes. By pulling this information directly into the Disaster Dashboard, Council aims to provide a one-stop shop for information.
The Mayor said “The addition is about supporting the community and visitors with transparent, up-to-date data. By integrating this live data from the Queensland Government’s Fuel Prices QLD service, we are making it easier for everyone to stay informed and make the best decisions for their journey.”
The feature allows users to check which stations are operational before they leave home, and provides indicative pricing to better manage travel expenses.
Council continues to monitor the local fuel situation and remains guided by the latest advice from State and Federal authorities.
Residents and tourists are encouraged to keep informed by visiting the Goondiwindi Regional Council Disaster Dashboard at https://dashboard.grc.qld.gov.au/ and selecting the fuel layer on the interactive map.
