Opposed to Herries Range Windfarm project
I encourage local residents and land holders to come to Karara or Inglewood this week to loudly voice their opposition and disgust to yet another wind factory proposal at nearby Herries Range which will negatively impact every one of us in our local bush communities.

The community is opposed to these blights on the landscape which provide absolutely zero benefit to the electorate, the state or the country. Wind turbines only push up the cost of electricity and poison the air, land and water.
Each turbine produces 60kg of PFAS (Forever Chemicals) per year and this destroys ruminant grazing by denying export of carcass and meat products. That’s a direct threat to our livelihoods!
One thing the Greens turn a blind eye to is that clearing natural native habitat for placement of wind turbines doesn’t save the planet - Not that it needs saving because manmade climate change is a scam, con, lie and fraud - It’s a global business. Grassland is for grazing. Diverse forests support healthy pastures.
Come to Karara Community Hall Friday 19th September (See calendar for times) to show your support against these disastrous monstrosities. Hopefully locals also attended the Inglewood Civic Centre on Thursday 18th September, or went to the Kings Theatre in Warwick to likewise inform the proponents of this scam that they are not welcome to destroy the live ability, amenity and prosperity of the bush.
The new conservative LNP government in Queensland is wholly opposed to these wind and solar factories however the community needs your support so please come and express your dissent and displeasure at having to put up with more turbines and high-tension lines. With your support we will win.
You can also email the office of James Lister MP at southern.downs@parliament.qld.gov.au to let him and the Queensland people know you don’t approve.
Southern Downs is not going to become the wind factory capital of Australia. We are all in this together and we need to make our voices loud and clear - No more wind, no more solar.
