PIGS SET TO RACE AGAIN in Yelarbon
The Yelarbon State School P&C is excited to once again bring the much-loved Pig Races to Yelarbon on Saturday, 21 November 2026, at Yelarbon State School.
Proudly hosted by the school P&C, the event promises a fantastic day out for the whole family, with plenty of entertainment, pig racing action, face painting and activities for the kids. Best of all, entry is free!
The Pig Races are an important fundraiser for Yelarbon State School, helping the P&C raise much needed funds to improve the school canteen facility and continue providing great opportunities for our students.
To make the day even easier for visitors, a bus service will be running from Goondiwindi, giving locals the chance to leave the car at home and enjoy a day out in Yelarbon. Contact us to book your seat!
Visitors are also encouraged to make a day and night of it, with dinner at the local Yelarbon Oasis Pub and more live entertainment to round out the festivities.
The P&C is looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike for a fun filled community day. Events like these rely on the support of our community, and every bit of support helps make a difference for our school and its students.
