Postie Bike Ride Arrives in Texas
Around fifty Postie Bike riders took to the roads from October 11 to 17 travelling through regional New South Wales and Queensland in support of a very worthwhile cause, Wings4Kidz.
The ride took in the towns of Gulgong, Mudgee, Gunnedah, Inverell, Texas, Goondiwindi, Lightning Ridge, Grawin and Coonabarabran, bringing together riders with a shared passion for adventure and helping families in need.
Wings4Kidz aims to ease the burden of long-distance travel for children diagnosed with serious medical conditions. The organisation provides a specialist free air service, along with ground transport, helping families stay together while navigating the challenges of medical treatment.
On Tuesday, riders stopped in Texas for a well-earned lunch break at the Stockman Hotel before heading off to Goondiwindi for the night as their journey continued.
The annual ride combines the camaraderie of the open road with an important message of community support, raising awareness and support for a service that makes a real difference to families facing difficult times
