Restored Buick Returns to Texas
A Texas-sourced 1915 Buick is pictured at the Texas Heritage Centre and Tobacco Museum with owners Kevin and Joyce Brooks from Burpengary last Friday morning (22nd May). The vehicle was discovered many years ago on a property near Texas in a badly deteriorated condition by a friend of Kevin’s, who would love to learn the name of the property if anyone has any ideas. Since its discovery, the Buick has been lovingly restored. Kevin, a teacher, worked on exchange in Canada in 1994 and was able to source some key parts while there, which greatly assisted in this great restoration. This was just one of the amazing vehicles in Texas recently as part of The Veteran Car Club of Australia (Qld) President’s Hometown Rally which was based at the Texas show grounds from the 20th to 24th May 2026.
