The TADDS Hub is a community hub providing a safe and welcoming space for all. It is a place to find connection, community and support. Their Thursday’s have proved popular with people of all ages dropping in to check out our pre-loved clothing and household items, books and dvds! Many staying for a cuppa and a chat, with plenty of laughs to be had! Due to popular demand, the TADDS Hub will be opening Monday’s for Lose Your Blues! A day dedicated to fun and games with laughter guaranteed! Come along and join in organised activities, cards, board games, crafts and more. Morning Tea and a light Lunch will be provided with a cost of $10 for entry. All are welcome to join in the fun! Join in with the games or just enjoy the conversation and friendship. Friday’s Craft and Sewing group welcomes anyone who loves creating and making their own things, bring your own project and snacks. Their Community Gardens will be up and running soon, with anyone welcome to come along and help out!

Behind the scenes, the TADDS group is continuing to help people in our community, experiencing trying times. The committee would like to thank other local community organisations for their generous support which enables them to assist those in need. Texas Qld Inc helped them bring the film ‘Just a Farmer’ to town for a screening. Thanks to funding from FRRR, last year the TADDS group was able to host Warren Davies - the Unbreakable Farmer and Shanna Whan - Sober in the Country, for a series of workshops throughout the border community.

The TADDS group will be celebrating Neighbours Day on the last Sunday in March and would like to invite the community to join them, keep an eye out for further information. Neighbours Day, just like the TADDS Hub, is all about small moments of inclusion, kindness and connection that reduces loneliness, improves wellbeing, and builds stronger communities.
