Texas Duo Chasing Grand Final Dream with Stanthorpe Redbacks
Coosti Ward and Zane Choat have had a season to remember, travelling from Texas each week to proudly represent the Stanthorpe United Redbacks in the Under 13's soccer competition.

Despite a challenging start to the season, the Redbacks—bolstered by the dedication and talent of Zane and Coosti—have rallied hard to secure a spot in the elimination final. The match will be played this Sunday – August 24 - in Stanthorpe. A win will see them advance to the semi-finals on August 30th, and keep their hopes alive for a spot in the Grand Final, scheduled for September 6.
The competition features six teams, including regional rivals Tenterfield and Ballandean, along with four Stanthorpe-based clubs: United Redbacks, Inter, City, and Carlton.
Regardless of what lies ahead, Coosti and Zane’s commitment, sportsmanship and team spirit have already made this season one to be proud of.
