Texas Golfers travel to Alpha’s Men’s Sand green Championships
Seven Texas members and two caddies (taxi drivers) trekked over 1000 kilometres to the Queensland Men’s Sand greens Championships held in Alpha.
Three days of golf saw mixed results. Friday’s 4BBB saw Ben and Jordan have the best score out of the travellers with 42points.
Over Saturday and Sunday 36 holes were played. Golf Australia(Qld) website has all the results. Tim had the best score out of the Texas members with 7over after the 2days.The only prize to come home was Ben’s second place raffle prize.
Thanks to past member Greg for organising accommodation in Alpha. The boys are now looking forward to next year’s event in Miles.
Di and Andrea, along with their caddies (taxi drivers), travelled to Mt Morgan last weekend to compete in the Queensland Ladies Championships.
An American Foursomes was held at home. Congratulations to Lochie and Josh for winning the event.
