Texas State School has New Wheels!

Texas school has a new vehicle. The Kia van has replaced the previous school vehicle maintaining the ongoing lease arrangement. The van seats 8 people and is ideal for small group excursions and for transporting students to and from zone and regional sporting events. The van provides Texas students with an excellent resource allowing for higher participation rates in sporting activities which are held across regional areas.

Burilda Triumphs in 2026 (Athletics)

At the end of last Semester Texas School held its annual Athletics Carnival. Burilda and Coolac went toe to toe as they fought for honour and glory once again in 2026. As usual it was a very enjoyable day; well attended by parents and carers who eagerly cheered from the sidelines, and equally well engaged by students who partook in events with the fun spirit which has now become accustomed to the event. At the end of the day Burilda were triumphant with all students thanking Mr Doughty for once again organising a fantastic day.
