World-Renowned Pianist Roman Rudnytsky returns to Texas for a One-Night Concert
The Texas Memorial Hall will come alive with the sounds of a world-class classical piano on Tuesday, 30th September, when Roman Rudnytsky, the internationally acclaimed American concert pianist of Ukrainian heritage, takes to the stage for what promises to be a memorable evening of music.

Born in New York City and trained at the prestigious Juilliard School, Rudnytsky’s career spans decades and continents.
A true citizen of the world, he has performed in 100 countries and on 80 cruises with Cunard and P&O (UK) cruise lines, bringing classical music to audiences both on land and at sea.
Australia, however, holds a special place in Rudnytsky’s heart. Since his first tour in 1979, he has returned 23 times, performing around 400 concerts across the country—from the Sydney Opera House to remote Outback towns.
His contributions to the Australian music scene include serving as Artist-in-Residence at both the University of Melbourne Faculty of Music and the University of Wollongong School of Creative Arts.
One of the highlights of his career was his Australian premiere of Liszt’s Concerto No. 3 in E-flat in 1993, performed with the SBS Youth Orchestra at Sydney Town Hall. This landmark concert was captured in the SBS documentary “Discovering Liszt”, and broadcast nationwide.
So far in 2025, Rudnytsky’s musical journey has taken him across the USA, including Alaska, to the Pacific Island of Saipan, and aboard Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne. His last appearance in Texas was in 2023, and his return is eagerly anticipated by local music lovers.
In addition to his global performance career, Rudnytsky also served for many years as Professor of Piano at Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music in Ohio. There, he earned the Distinguished Professor Award, and upon his retirement, was named Professor Emeritus—a testament to his contributions to music education.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness a world-class performance right here in Texas. Roman Rudnytsky will perform for one night only at Texas Memorial Hall on Tuesday, 30th September. Whether you’re a lifelong classical music enthusiast or simply curious to experience the artistry of one of the world’s most travelled concert pianists, this is an evening not to be missed.
Tickets are available on the night. $20 general admission, $15 for students and children under 12 years free. See advertisement page three for more details
