Congratulations to Lalor for taking out this year’s Athletics win. Students displayed wonderful sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the carnivals.
Congratulations to our Age Champions: Parker, Eddie, Lillie, Jacobie, Kaylee and Jack.
A massive thank-you to our fantastic P&C for providing the wonderful morning tea and lunch options. All proceeds from the day go back to the students.
A special thank-you to Renee Cash, Megan Officer and Karlene Hob day for their prior preparation of the food and treats.
Last week our whole school participated in guided art lessons by ‘Its ARTrageous’. We had a fantastic time learning new drawing and painting skills. Our senior students created versions of Macca the Alpaca whilst the junior class brought their lions to life. Thank you to Miss Janelle for the wonderful and creative day!
On Tuesday, Mrs Dennis travelled with four of the senior students to the Readers Cup competition in Toowoomba. Carter, Jacobie, Sophie and Parker worked well as a team to answer questions on given books that they had read throughout the term. Well done, Yelarbon!
Well done to Lillie who trialled in the Darling Downs soccer team.
Student of the Week awards have been presented to Kaylee, Zora, Jack, Michael, Carter and Jacobie. Our Principal Award has gone to Clancy, Caitlyn and Sophie
Congratulations to our PBL award winners: Eli, Bailey, Jacobie, Michael and Sophie who have all shown positive examples of the school expectations.
We are all getting pumped and excited for this year’s Small Schools Athletics Carnival in Week8. Can’t wait to share the results with you all soon!
