YELARBON STATE SCHOOL up and running in 2026
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Kindy families to our community and to wish all our returning families a happy and prosperous 2026.
Congratulations to our Elected Senior Leaders for 2026. School Captain – Lillie, Lalor House Captain – Eddie and Campbell House Captain – Parker.
Our Year Six students were presented with their Senior Shirts on assembly on Monday. Keep an eye out for these students wearing them proudly.
Our free Kindy program is running five days a fortnight on a Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday. Please contact the school for more information.
Free Playgroup sessions will also once again run Friday mornings. Come along and meet other local parents and enjoy organised activities with your little ones. Please bring some morning tea for yourself and your little one. See our Facebook page or contact the school for further details.
The whole school is looking forward to beginning our school swimming program tomorrow. We will travel to the Goondiwindi pool over four Fridays this Term to receive lessons with qualified instructors.
We would like to take this opportunity to bid a very sad goodbye to our principal Benjamin James, who has been with us for the last three years. We wish him all the very best in his promotion and future endeavours. You will be very missed Mr James.
We would also like to invite school and community members to a free farewell BBQ for Ben to be held at the school on Thursday 12th February straight after school.
