Inglewood Gallery Cafe Launches Free Wildlife-Themed Art Classes Thanks to RADF Grant
The Inglewood Gallery Cafe is excited to announce that its popular art classes will now be offered free of charge, thanks to funding from a RADF (Regional Arts Development Fund) grant secured through the Goondiwindi Regional Council.

Starting April 8th, the classes will run every Wednesday for a full year, welcoming both children and adults to explore their creativity in a welcoming, well-equipped environment.
Local artist Tennille Bankes will continue to lead these engaging sessions, which focus on painting native wildlife on canvases provided at the venue. Participants do not need to bring any materials—paints, brushes, and canvases are all supplied, making it easy for anyone to join in.
The classes run during term time and include the school holidays, held at the Inglewood Gallery Cafe located at 62 Albert Street, Inglewood. There are two age-specific sessions: the kids’ class are timed conveniently after school, while the adults’ class takes place earlier in the afternoon. Children under 9 must be supervised by an adult.
Each week, Tennille introduces a different native animal for participants to paint, creating a fun and educational theme that highlights Australia’s diverse wildlife.
With the removal of fees, the program aims to encourage wider community participation and foster a love of art and nature among people of all ages.
Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refine your skills in a friendly setting. For more information, interested individuals can contact Sarah Eisel (More details page 7).
This generous funding support demonstrates a strong commitment to nurturing creativity and community spirit in the Inglewood region, making art accessible and enjoyable for all
