Inglewood Golf News

What a gloomy, bleak week it was – with plenty of rain and cold – you could bog a duck in places!

Friday’s Chook Run saw more new faces, welcome to Steve and Luke, and David Osborne managed to get a win.

On Sunday, a large group travelled to Texas for their Open Carnival, hopefully played in better weather than we had in Inglewood. Inglewood players went very well, with John Morpuss shooting the lights out to win A Grade Gross; Merv Morris won A Grade Net; Matt Price, improving all the time, won C Grade Net; Lyn Coleman proved she is the best golfer in her family taking Division 2 Ladies Net. Well done to all this week.

Junior Golf continues Monday’s after school.

Next Sunday is the August 18 Hole Stroke and Putting Monthly Mug – come along and have a go at winning it!

Happy golfing!
