Inglewood Golf News - Sunday competition (24 August) for Ted Callaghan trophies
It was a bit wet underfoot but there was a great roll up for Friday afternoon’s Chook Run, where there was some banter and laughs aplenty. Flushed with success, Inglewood’s No 1 plumber Wayne (no leaks) Fearby won the day.

Sunday’s game was an 18-hole Stableford with Ted Callaghan trophy donor. On a spectacular pristine day, they all gathered to fight it out for the prize. Powered by Macintyre Brook Lamb, Adrian McInnerney took the win, with Matt Price runner-up. John Morpuss won Men’s pin and had a magnificent eagle, while Cissy Coleman won the Ladies. Congratulations to all winners this week and thank you to Ted for the great trophies.
Junior Golf continues Monday after school, but only for a few more weeks.
Please get your names into John for the Open Day, first weekend in September, to secure your spot. Also, anyone who could help on that weekend would be appreciated.
Next Sunday’s game is an 18-hole 2 person Ambrose with Ryan Donovan trophy donor. It will be great fun, see you there.
