Lions District Governor Visits Inglewood Lions Club
The Inglewood Lions Club recently welcomed District Governor Johnson Chen and his wife during his visit as part of his district inspection rounds. The meeting was an opportunity to recognise the valuable contributions of Lions members, welcome a new member and celebrate long-standing service to the community.

Cr Kym Skinner represented the Goondiwindi Regional Council at the meeting, highlighting the importance of community connections and local organisations working together.
A special highlight was the induction of new member Fee, welcomed into the club by Johnson Chen and President Kathy Palmer.
The club also recognised Barry Standing for more than 20 years of service with Lions Australia, including 15 years serving the Inglewood community. Barry was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his dedication and commitment. Congratulations, Barry, and thank you for your many years of valued service.
The meeting was attended by Inglewood Lions members, with guest speaker and District Governor Johnson Chen sharing the occasion alongside his wife. Members enjoyed the opportunity to come together, celebrate their achievements and continue their commitment to serving the local community.
The Lions Convention will be held at Logan Central in approximately one month, providing a further opportunity for Lions members to connect and celebrate the work of the organisation.
