ROOSTER’S BIG DAY OUT at Tenterfield
Ladies and Men's teams from Inglewood both successful at Border Rugby League Grand Finals in Tenterfield.
Inglewood Ladies, the Border Rugby League (BRL) Minor Premiers, went on to become the Premiers after defeating the Tenterfield Ladies in the BRL League Tag competition held on Saturday 12th September. They won comprehensively with a score of 18-0. Player of the match was Josie Thompson for Inglewood with the Player of the Year Milla Fraguas of Stanthorpe.
The Minor Premiers, Tenterfield, hosted Inglewood in the Men’s competition but the Roosters had left their best till last to come out winners 30-22. What a cracker of a game fitting of a Grand Final with nothing between them at half time. Man of the match was Connor Clancy from Inglewood and BRL Player of the Year was Lachlan Johnson from Tenterfield. Thank you to all our sponsors and supporters for the year.
