Students were nominated by their peers and teachers, and following speeches and a selection process led by Principal Liv Osborne in collaboration with staff and students, the successful leaders were appointed.

“These roles give our students a meaningful opportunity to contribute to our school and support it to be the best place it can be for everyone,” Mrs Osborne said. “We are incredibly proud of the way our students have embraced this opportunity with enthusiasm, care and responsibility.”

2026 School Captain, Lilah McGovern, shared, “Being School Captain to me is about helping students enjoy school and making our school a welcoming community where no one feels left out.”

The students selected have already demonstrated strong leadership qualities and a genuine commitment to supporting others. Throughout the year, they will play an active role in promoting school spirit, supporting initiatives and fostering a positive environment for all.

They will also be part of the school’s 75th anniversary celebration later this year on 10th October.
