Sunday's trophy donors Bruce and Ann Maree Thompson - Inglewood Golf
Good conditions greeted us for the regular Friday afternoon Chook Run (15 August) which saw a select field compete hard. There are some great players up on the rocks, none better than this week’s winner, scintillating Sally Smith!
Sunday’s competition was a 4BBB 18 hole Stableford Draw with Bruce and Ann Maree Thompson trophy donors. A good field turned up, names were drawn and away we went with mixed results for some who’d had a late night.
The partnership of John Morpuss and Shorty Charles won the day; Runners-up were Gary Strain and David Osborne; while the old fox Merv Morris took the pin shot. Well done to all winners and a big thankyou to Bruce and Annie.
Junior Golf continues Mondays after school, bring your kids to learn about our great game.
There will be a meeting before play on Sunday, please come along. The game on Sunday will be an 18 Hole Stableford with Ted Callaghan trophy donor, so come and have a hit.
